| Oh yeah! this has been happening here for a while now, i knew about the riots, sadly, none has ocurred near from were i live, at least not that i know of, but well, i can only say that is is one of the best things that mexicans have done in a while.
I mean, yeah, maybe they went too far in queretaro, but the reality is that emos suck hardcoe, and mexicans has made it clear that they wont welcome them just like that, also, the irony of all this is that the ones that are beating them up are other segregated groups here in mexico, like punks and goths.
The real reason they are are attacking the emos is not because they are "homophobic" as the article states, its because emos are so lame and ridiculous they make these other groups and cultures look bad, normal people here have really no clue about the difference between an emo and a goth, so people mark them both as the same thing, wich is what aggravated the goths and punks.
I just hope that this anti-emo sentiment lasts in here long enough so that all the guys pretending to be emos stop, (i know there will always be bastards like that, but at least they would be more hidden and wont have the guts to appear in public so often.)

| Beh, so long as they keep their emo away from me, we're cool. My brother was emo for a while, and when I didn't buy into his line of crap he knocked it off.

I approve of this, and i wish they all had the guts to do what they always say they will do, Besides, what does emotional has to do with wearing tight pants using piercing and a stupid hairdo?

Absolutely nothing. And there's nothing emotional about denying happy feelings becuase one thinks that negative ones are the only emotions that are "real". stupid kids.
