I know there are a few writings on the forum. And I love a good chat about this sort of thing so for you writers, what are your favorite forms of writing? what do you look for in stories both on a story and on a technical level?

As some of you know I've started overhauling my novel...again xD. I think sometimes you just need to put something down and walk away for a while then come back. That's the nice thing about doing online comics though, you can shift stories around. But in novels man, I just can't help reworking things.

How about you guys? study

I avoid writing like the plague because I have to do so much of it for school.

I haven't had one of those since high school. I attended summer classes every summer at college and looks like I'll be doing the same for my current masters program.

Bleh, I'm too in debt for a master's degree just yet. I want to get a job that will pay for it and my current one, won't.

I can't get a real job without a masters so I don't really have a choice. It's either that or get and live on a minimum wage job.

I got an undergraduate degree in English. That is pretty useless for getting a job.

....D'OH! I have a Ba in English too....bbbuuuuutttt my primary major was Digital Art and multimedia Design, so yeah...English departments LIE when they say English as a major will get you a job. I know lots of people who double majored in it as proper writing skills are highly important. That being said, I was a B student...and writing papers always brought my grades down xD.

I do occasional writing, I like to do world building, my problem is that I spend more time building my settings than I do the actual stories >.>
